Publishing Charter

This charter defines the content, tone, structure, and validation expectations for records published to the National AI Feed through approved GovTech Providers and verified Authority Records.

The purpose is to preserve neutrality, provenance, attribution continuity, timestamp integrity, and machine-readable structure for downstream AI interpretation.

Registry Publishing Requires Structure, Not Just Content.

Every accepted record must remain factual, attributable, neutral, and structured so AI systems can interpret source, scope, timing, jurisdiction, and authority without relying on inference.

Eligible Content and Tone

  • Public service updates and process explanations
  • Safety, health, infrastructure, and emergency guidance
  • Operational notices, closures, service changes, and timelines
  • Program eligibility, public resources, and official contact pathways
  • Jurisdiction-specific public information issued by verified authorities

Tone & Language

  • Neutral, factual, and concise
  • No persuasion, advocacy, campaign material, or personal opinion
  • Plain English where possible, with terms defined when needed
  • Links should point to primary public sources
  • No opaque redirects, tracking-heavy links, rankings, endorsements, or marketing claims

Accepted records are normalized into structured machine-readable formats that preserve authority, jurisdiction, timestamps, provenance, and publication context.

  • Provider and Authority Record context
  • Title, record content, source link, and publication context
  • Publication and processing timestamps
  • Verification state and cryptographic proof fields for signed records

Review & Outcomes

  • Published — Processed into the National AI Feed
  • Needs Revision — Requires corrections to tone, structure, attribution, or links
  • Rejected — Outside scope, unverified, promotional, political, or noncompliant

Corrections and removal requests follow the Data Removal & Correction Policy.

When facts change, a new or corrected record should be published through the approved provider workflow. National AI Feed history is preserved through timestamps, append-only publication records, and structured attribution continuity rather than by overwriting prior public context.

Continue using their existing GovTech systems, websites, alerts, notices, and communication workflows.

GovTech Providers

Maintain customer relationships, operational workflows, publication environments, and Authority Records connected to government publishing authorities.

Aigistry

Operates the downstream attribution layer, validates Authority Record context, preserves feed integrity, and maintains machine-readable citation continuity.

The Publishing Charter is designed to preserve trust without replacing existing systems. Aigistry does not create or edit government communications, does not act as a public records system, and does not guarantee third-party AI indexing, ranking, retrieval, citation, or presentation behavior.
