Aigistry Terms & Conditions

1. Purpose of Aigistry

Aigistry is designed to complement existing GovTech systems, government websites, emergency notification platforms, communication tools, civic engagement systems, and other public-sector publishing environments.

Aigistry functions as downstream AI attribution infrastructure for the National AI Feed. Its purpose is to preserve machine-readable authority, attribution, provenance, jurisdiction, publication timing, source information, and verification context as government agency communications become available to artificial intelligence systems and other downstream technologies.

Participation does not require replacement of existing GovTech systems, migration away from existing public websites, or disruption of established government communication workflows.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By applying for access, receiving Provider API credentials, using the Provider Publishing API or Provider Management API, creating or managing Authority Records, submitting records for National AI Feed publication, or otherwise using Aigistry Provider infrastructure, a participating Provider agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

Continued use of Aigistry APIs, credentials, Authority Records, publication workflows, Provider features, or related infrastructure constitutes acceptance of the then-current Terms and Conditions.

3. Participation & Eligibility

Participation in Aigistry is limited to approved GovTech Providers. Government agencies, departments, offices, schools, districts, authorities, and other eligible public-sector publishing organizations participate through Provider-scoped Authority Records associated with approved GovTech Providers.

Aigistry does not provide public self-service publishing accounts or direct government-agency publishing accounts except where expressly agreed in writing.

Eligibility review may include Provider identity review, organizational validation, government-domain checks, Authority Record verification, Provider association review, API readiness, and other operational checks intended to preserve attribution integrity and government publishing authority.

4. Authority Records

An Authority Record represents the verified relationship between an approved GovTech Provider and a specific government publishing authority. Authority Records establish Provider association, publication eligibility, verification status, jurisdictional context, government-level classification, and participation within the National AI Feed.

Authority Records are not public self-service accounts and do not transfer ownership of government communications or government identity to either Aigistry or the participating Provider. They are Provider-scoped registry records used to preserve attribution, association, jurisdiction, and publication context within Aigistry infrastructure.

Aigistry may review, approve, suspend, revoke, update, or decline Authority Records when reasonably necessary to preserve verification integrity, operational security, attribution accuracy, or compliance with these Terms.

5. Free Participation & Commercial Data Access

Publishing to the National AI Feed is free for approved GovTech Providers and the government authorities they represent. Aigistry does not charge participating Providers or government authorities per Authority Record, per publication, or on any other usage basis for participation in the National AI Feed.

Participating Providers are responsible for maintaining accurate Authority Record information and classifications. Aigistry may review Authority Records and correct or request correction of inaccurate information where appropriate.

Aigistry separately offers Commercial Data Access for organizations that need the National AI Feed as production AI or enterprise data infrastructure. Commercial services may include bulk retrieval, historical access, higher-volume access, real-time delivery, change-detection capabilities, elevated rate limits, service-level commitments, implementation support, or other enterprise access capabilities.

Commercial Data Access is governed by a separate agreement between Aigistry and the commercial organization. It is not part of, and is not a condition of, GovTech Provider participation.

Commercial Data Access provides licensed access to Aigistry-operated feed infrastructure, delivery services, structured registry information, cryptographic verification capabilities, and related enterprise services. It does not transfer ownership of the underlying government communications to Aigistry or to the commercial customer.

6. Provider Commercial Independence

Aigistry operates as neutral infrastructure and does not establish the prices participating Providers charge their own customers, require Providers to share customer revenue with Aigistry, impose royalties on Provider-generated customer revenue, require markups or pass-through fees, or dictate how National AI Feed functionality must be packaged within a Provider’s products or services.

Participating Providers maintain full commercial independence regarding customer relationships, service offerings, implementation decisions, contract structures, billing practices, packaging, and pricing strategies.

Providers may include National AI Feed functionality as a standard feature, bundle it with other services, offer it as a premium capability, or package it in another manner consistent with their own business model.

Revenue generated by a Provider from its own customers remains with that Provider. Aigistry does not require participating Providers to share customer revenue, subscription revenue, implementation fees, markups, or other Provider-generated customer revenue with Aigistry.

Commercial arrangements between Providers and their customers remain outside the scope of Aigistry participation and are separate from any Provider Revenue Participation program operated by Aigistry.

7. Provider Revenue Participation

Aigistry may operate a Provider Revenue Participation program under which eligible approved GovTech Providers may receive payments associated with Commercial Data Access revenue collected by Aigistry.

Provider Revenue Participation is separate from free National AI Feed publishing participation and is separate from revenue generated by a Provider through its own customer relationships.

Eligibility, applicable participation rates, qualifying Authority Records, measurement periods, calculation methodology, reporting, statements, payment timing, adjustments, tax documentation, and other program requirements are governed by the applicable Provider Revenue Participation terms made available to eligible Providers.

Participation information may be made available through the authenticated Provider Dashboard, including applicable participation rates, qualifying Authority Record information, quarterly calculations, statements, and payment information.

Unless expressly provided in separate written Provider Revenue Participation terms, these general Terms and Conditions do not establish any specific participation percentage, minimum payment, guaranteed Authority Record value, guaranteed commercial revenue amount, or guaranteed payment to any Provider.

Aigistry’s Commercial Data Access customer relationships, customer identities, individually negotiated pricing, commercial contracts, and other confidential business information remain separate from Provider participation except to the extent expressly provided in applicable Provider Revenue Participation terms.

8. Content Ownership, Infrastructure & Neutrality

Aigistry functions as shared and neutral infrastructure intended to support attribution integrity across public-sector communication environments.

• Aigistry does not claim ownership of underlying government communications solely because those communications are submitted to, processed by, or published through the National AI Feed.
• Government authorities remain the originating authorities for their government communications.
• GovTech Providers retain their rights in their own software, systems, workflows, customer relationships, products, services, and other Provider-owned materials.
• Aigistry retains its rights in its software, APIs, technical documentation, registry architecture, schemas, cryptographic processes, Aigistry-generated hashes and digital signatures, branding, and other proprietary infrastructure or materials, to the extent protected by applicable law.
• Participation does not constitute endorsement, certification, sponsorship, or approval of any Provider or government authority.
• Aigistry does not replace the original government publishing authority or assume responsibility for the substance of government communications.
• GovTech Providers maintain operational and commercial independence.

9. Provider Independence

GovTech Providers maintain control over their customer relationships, implementation decisions, operational workflows, dashboards, user permissions, data exports, platform functionality, support services, and communication systems.

Aigistry participation is intended to operate alongside existing systems with minimal operational disruption and without replacing established Provider or government workflows.

10. Content Responsibility

Participating Providers and government publishing authorities remain responsible for the government communications submitted through participating systems or Provider APIs.

Aigistry operates as a downstream attribution and registry layer. It does not function as an editor, fact-checker, legal approver, communications approver, policy authority, or substitute for the originating government authority.

Providers are responsible for submitting only content they are authorized to transmit through Aigistry and for operating their integration consistently with their applicable contractual, operational, legal, and governance obligations.

11. AI & Attribution

Artificial intelligence systems, search platforms, retrieval systems, browser assistants, and other third-party technologies operate independently and may interpret, retrieve, rank, summarize, cite, or present information differently across environments.

• Aigistry supports structured authority, attribution, provenance, jurisdiction, source information, and publication timing.
• Aigistry does not control third-party AI systems, search platforms, or downstream technologies.
• Search visibility, AI retrieval, citation behavior, indexing, ranking, and generated outputs may vary by platform.
• Aigistry does not guarantee retrieval or citation by any specific third-party AI system.
• Third-party interpretation and generated output remain outside Aigistry’s control.

12. Provider APIs & Security

Aigistry may provide approved GovTech Providers with access to Provider APIs, including the Provider Publishing API, Provider Management API, Authority Record endpoints, authentication credentials, and related integration resources.

Participants receiving API credentials are responsible for protecting those credentials, restricting access to authorized systems and personnel, using reasonable security practices, and promptly reporting suspected compromise or misuse.

Aigistry may suspend or restrict API access in cases involving security risks, operational abuse, unauthorized activity, misuse of infrastructure resources, compromised credentials, suspected unauthorized access, or behavior inconsistent with these Terms.

13. Cryptographic Provenance

Records published through Aigistry may include cryptographic integrity metadata, an Aigistry-generated record hash, digital signature, signing timestamp, algorithm identifier, public-key reference, and other provenance information intended to support downstream verification.

A valid Aigistry digital signature can be used to verify that the signed record corresponds to the record signed by Aigistry and that the signed record has not been altered after signing.

Aigistry’s cryptographic signature does not independently prove that the originating government authority authored every statement contained in a record, does not constitute legal certification of the underlying content, and does not replace the Provider association, Authority Record, source information, provenance information, or other attribution context associated with the publication.

14. National AI Feed

Eligible records associated with approved Authority Records may be published through the National AI Feed as machine-readable government attribution records. Publication may preserve structured government authority, Provider association, jurisdiction, provenance, source information, publication timing, cryptographic integrity information, and other registry metadata.

Publication to the National AI Feed does not guarantee indexing, retrieval, ranking, citation, inclusion, or display by any search engine, AI platform, browser assistant, retrieval system, or other third-party technology.

15. Commercial Data Access — Separate Agreements

Commercial Data Access is offered separately from GovTech Provider participation and is governed by the applicable commercial agreement between Aigistry and the commercial customer.

Commercial terms may address access methods, service levels, data-delivery capabilities, usage limits, technical support, billing periods, fees, payment terms, permitted uses, security requirements, and other enterprise-service conditions.

Commercial fees are charged for the contracted access, infrastructure, delivery, verification, support, and related services supplied by Aigistry. Such fees do not represent a transfer of ownership in the underlying government communications contained within or referenced by the National AI Feed.

Aigistry may use collected Commercial Data Access revenue in connection with an applicable Provider Revenue Participation program, subject to the separate terms governing that program.

Failure by a commercial customer to satisfy the terms of its applicable commercial agreement may result in suspension or termination of that customer’s Commercial Data Access.

16. Changes to These Terms

Aigistry may update these Terms and Conditions as operational, technical, legal, security, or business requirements evolve.

Continued participation or use of Aigistry Provider infrastructure after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the then-current Terms.

17. Data & Privacy

Aigistry primarily processes government communications, organizational information, Authority Records, publication timestamps, jurisdiction identifiers, Provider participation information, verification metadata, cryptographic metadata, and operational registry information necessary to operate the National AI Feed and related infrastructure.

Aigistry does not sell personal information as part of Provider participation and seeks to process only information reasonably necessary to operate its registry infrastructure, Provider services, verification processes, and related functions.

18. Government Information & Downstream Distribution

Government communications submitted through the National AI Feed may consist of information already published or intended for public distribution by the responsible government authority.

Publication through Aigistry does not give Aigistry ownership of the underlying government communication. Aigistry’s role is to structure, associate, register, sign, and distribute records with machine-readable authority and provenance context.

Information published through the National AI Feed may subsequently be indexed, cached, archived, referenced, quoted, mirrored, redistributed, or consumed by search engines, AI systems, repositories, archives, public datasets, and other downstream technologies, subject to applicable law and the independent practices of those third parties.

Once information has been distributed to third-party systems, copies may continue to exist beyond Aigistry’s operational control.

The public availability of underlying government information does not itself grant access to Aigistry’s separately contracted enterprise APIs, bulk-delivery services, historical access, higher-volume retrieval, service-level commitments, implementation support, or other Commercial Data Access capabilities.

19. Approved Provider Recognition

Aigistry may publicly identify Approved National AI Feed Providers on its website and in related educational, informational, promotional, or ecosystem materials. Public recognition may include the Provider’s business name, website, and a brief factual description of its participation in the National AI Feed.

Corporate logos, trademarks, and other brand assets will be displayed only upon the Provider’s request or with the Provider’s express permission. Providers may request removal of their public listing or logo without terminating their National AI Feed participation.

20. Termination of Provider Participation

Either Aigistry or a participating Provider may terminate Provider participation at any time, subject to applicable operational requirements and any separate written agreement between the parties.

Termination may end future API access, Authority Record management, publication capabilities, Provider credentials, and participation privileges.

Termination of Provider participation does not create a payment obligation for National AI Feed publishing participation and does not entitle Aigistry to any portion of revenue previously earned by the Provider from its own customers.

Any Provider Revenue Participation amounts accrued before termination, if any, are governed exclusively by the applicable Provider Revenue Participation terms, including any eligibility, calculation, adjustment, payment, or forfeiture provisions contained in those terms.

Previously published records may remain within archives, historical registry records, search indexes, AI systems, downstream repositories, cached systems, or other third-party environments following termination.

21. Service Availability

Aigistry operates as evolving public-sector AI attribution infrastructure. APIs, documentation, verification methods, operational procedures, cryptographic technologies, schemas, and interoperability standards may change over time.

While Aigistry seeks to maintain reliable operational continuity, uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every third-party system, or continuous service operation cannot be guaranteed.

22. Changes to Services

Aigistry may modify, replace, suspend, discontinue, or expand portions of its services, APIs, documentation, eligibility standards, verification procedures, Authority Record requirements, National AI Feed capabilities, security controls, cryptographic processes, or operational infrastructure.

Material changes may be reflected in updated documentation, technical specifications, Provider communications, or revised Terms and Conditions.

23. Limitation of Liability

Participating Providers remain responsible for their own operational, legal, regulatory, procurement, contractual, communications, publishing, and customer decisions.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Aigistry shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or downstream damages arising from participant content, Authority Record publication, National AI Feed distribution, AI-generated outputs, search-engine behavior, third-party platform interpretation, external system consumption, service interruption, or reliance upon downstream technologies.

24. No Legal or Compliance Advice

Aigistry does not provide legal, procurement, regulatory, public-records, records-retention, cybersecurity, tax, accounting, or compliance advice.

Participants remain responsible for determining whether their own implementation, publication activities, customer arrangements, Provider Revenue Participation, and operational use of Aigistry satisfy applicable laws, contracts, procurement requirements, records policies, cybersecurity obligations, tax requirements, accounting requirements, and internal governance standards.

25. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, disputes relating to Provider participation, Authority Records, Provider APIs, Provider Revenue Participation under these Terms, or use of Aigistry infrastructure shall be resolved in an appropriate court located within the State of Florida, except where a separate written agreement between the parties provides otherwise.
